About This Website
This website was created to help make information about Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) easier to understand, access, and navigate.
Many people spend years searching for answers about their symptoms, experiences, relationships, nervous system responses, and the impact of trauma. Yet information about CPTSD is often scattered across research papers, books, clinical resources, websites, and social media.
Our goal is to bring that information together in one place and make it accessible to survivors, loved ones, professionals, educators, advocates, and the public.
This educational website is an awareness program of The Healing and CPTSD Foundation.
WHO CREATED THIS WEBSITE?
This website was created by The Healing and CPTSD Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing awareness, education, research, and recognition of Complex PTSD.
Our mission is to transform systems so trauma survivors receive the collective care they deserve.
Through awareness campaigns, educational resources, survivor-led research, advocacy initiatives, and future support programs, the Foundation works to increase understanding of Complex PTSD and improve outcomes for trauma survivors.

WHAT WE DO
The Foundation's work is organized around four core impact areas that work together to advance awareness, education, research, recognition, and support for people impacted by complex trauma.
Education, Publishing & Public Awareness
Increasing understanding of Complex PTSD through educational resources, awareness campaigns, publishing initiatives, and survivor-centered storytelling.
Survivor Research & Data Initiative
Collecting survivor-led data and research that helps elevate lived experience and inform advocacy, education, and systems change.
Survivor Support
(Healing Grants Program)
Advancing recognition of Complex PTSD and promoting trauma-informed change across healthcare, mental health, education, workplaces, government, and other systems.
Advocacy & Systems Change
A future initiative focused on providing direct financial support to survivors facing barriers to healing.
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
Whether you're looking for community, opportunities to create change, or ways to support CPTSD awareness and recognition, there are many ways to become involved.
